DCH Construction South was started by Teague Hopkins in 2008 - a Conway-based exterior contracting company serving Horry County. Siding, porch enclosures, and fencing are what we do - NOT "a little of everything." We stay focused, do things right, and handle the HOA coordination, permits, and communication that most homeowners would rather not deal with themselves. If you've tried hiring a contractor in South Carolina before, you already know that showing up on schedule and following through is worth something.
We pull HOA permits and handle all association paperwork before work starts, so you never have to chase approval yourself.
Teague Hopkins runs every job, so you deal with the same person from the estimate to the day we leave.
When the job is done, we don't disappear. If something needs adjusting or a question comes up later, you can still reach us.
We show up when we say we will. It may sound like a low bar, but it's unfortunately common around Horry County.
Every job ends with a walkthrough. We don't consider anything done until you've seen it yourself and signed off.

What kind of work does DCH Construction South do?
Exterior siding and trim, porch enclosures, and aluminum and vinyl fencing. That is the focus. We do not take on general contracting work outside of those categories. Staying in that lane is what keeps the quality consistent.
Do you serve the whole Myrtle Beach area or just Conway?
We work throughout Horry County including Conway, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Little River, Longs, Loris, Aynor, Socastee, and Murrells Inlet. If you are in Horry County, we cover your area.
Do you deal with HOA approvals or is that on me?
That is on us. We handle the permit applications, documentation, and association communication for any project that requires it. You do not need to manage that process.
Who actually does the work once we hire you?
Teague Hopkins is on every job. When you call, you are talking to the person who will be on your property. That does not change from the estimate through the final walkthrough.
Why fiber cement and vinyl instead of wood?
Wood needs painting, it absorbs moisture, and in Horry County's climate it starts creating maintenance issues faster than most homeowners want to deal with. Fiber cement and vinyl perform better here long term. It is not a knock on wood. It is just the honest answer for this climate.
